This could have been a great game but the failed rollout ruined it.
Initially it was online only and their servers could not handle it. They finally added the ability to play it locally but by that time the damage was done.
The city plots are way to small. Makes it almost impossible to add everything and keep the city in balance. They claim they had to for performance reasons but that's a cop out. They could have offered a few regions with a larger cities for players with computers that could handle it. And of course over time most modern computers can handle it and there has been no updates.
The regions are a nice idea but geared towards online play with multiple people playing. When playing stand-alone only the current city you're playing is 'running' so you have to kept switching from city to city to keep them all up to date.
All that said... a lot of great ideas in the game but it's hard to make use of all of them. I really wish they'd put out an update to fix the issues.
